For starters, I hate hearing my own voice. With that being said, however, I honestly enjoyed making a Voicethread. This type of technology is completely new to me. I think it's a great idea for students to be able to showcase their work, and not only that, but in a new and inventive way. Some students prefer to hear information, rather than just read it. Some students also learn better this way. Voicethread allows anyone to actually make comments using a microphone. Therefore, allowing anyone viewing the Voicethread to listen to information. This type of technology can easily be incorporated into any classroom. Students at most grade levels could take a research assignment and create a Voicethread. Similarly to what we were asked to do in this class, those students could post their information and other students could potentially use it as a means of research or study. Using Voicethread also ensures that the 21st century skill involving technological literacy is being incorporated in the learning process.
